Timothy Henderson

Mr. Timothy Henderson, 68, of Cartersville, Georgia passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, August 27, 2021 at 12:00PM (Noon) at Providence Cemetery, 165 Old Tennessee Rd SE, Cartersville, GA 30121.

Due to COVID-19 regulations and guidelines, physical distancing practices will be in place, and , MASK ARE REQUIRED for those that will be attending the service. The family is the main concern during this time of bereavement and space will be limited. We have to ensure the family is able to attend the service , so there is a possibility of some friends not being admitted. However, the service will be LIVE-STREAMED.

Timothy Henderson was born on March 21, 1953 to the late Henry Ford Henderson and Mother Betyy E. Carson McAfee. Mr. Henderson made a peaceful transition in the arms of our Savior. 

Tim was educated at an early age in the Bartow County School System; Summerhill and Cartersville High School. He worked at the Coca-Cola Company for a few years then went to work at the Cartersville Housing Authority, where he retire after working 19 years. Tim met the love of his life Christine Jackson. Tim became a father to Martha, Rebecca and Wanda. Tim loved his family and was preceded in death by his brother, Matthew Henderson. 

His loving memories will always be cherished by his mother, Betty Carson McAfee; his siblings, Roy Henderson, Betty Henderson, Clark (Lewis), Mary Henderson, Sheila Henderson, Patricia Collins (Carlos), Belinda Owens (Terry), Robert McAfee (Tonia); two special aunts, Betty Phene Henderson Brown and Ollie Nell Moore; dear friend, Johnny Massey; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, sister-in-laws; brother-in-law and aunts.
