Veronica Anokwalu (Nwakaego) Henderson

Mrs. Veronica Anokwalu Henderson, 67 of Cartersville, Georgia passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center. Funeral Service will be Friday, December 3, at 11:00AM at the St. Francis of Assisi, 850 Douthit Ferry Rd. Cartersville, Georgia 30120.Interment will follow in the Providence Cemetery, Cartersville, Ga. Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers as they go through this time of bereavement.

Due to COVID-19 regulations and guidelines, physical distancing practices will be in place, and MASK ARE REQUIRED for those that will be attending the service. The family is the main concern during this time of bereavement and space will be limited. We have to ensure the family is able to attend, so there is a possibility of some friends not being admitted. However, the service will be LIVE-STREAMED.

Veronica Anokwalu Nwakaego Henderson was born in Nigeria , UGA to Mr. Francis Anokwalu Nwakaego and Ann Umeh Anokwalu.
Veronica attended and graduated from high school. After relocating to Cartersville,Georgia she joined St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. She met and married Harvey Henderson.
Veronica enjoyed dancing, casual gatherings with friends, gospel music, fashions, and cooking.

Veronica was the mother to Rita Evans; grandmother to Odera, Nedu, Dalu, Diugo and a prospective son-in-law, David Okonji.
