When you're lucky enough to have a person in your life who loves you, teaches, and guides you; who goes WAY beyond their "job" to encourage and instill in you confidence, and courage to face whatever may come, you have found a true gift, a treasure. For me, one of the most special, most loved, admired, and forever remembered, is my third grade teacher, Mrs. Dorothy Green. She loved me. Me, the too skinny, too shy, too quiet little girl who hid from the world most of the time. She saw something in me....not sure what....but she saw it and she nurtured it and left a lifelong impression on me. She was the first person who ever said "you are beautiful", when I was anything but... She saw my heart, somehow, she saw ME. Today is teacher appreciation day and I wish, SO very much, I had reached out before it was too late to say THANK YOU, YOU MATTERED IN MY LIFE AND I'LL NEVER FORGET YOU. I love you Mrs. Green. Always. Thank you for loving me too.

Dear Cheryll,
We are thinking of you and your family and praying that God will cover you with his strength. Your mom instilled her beautiful spirit and qualities in you, which will remain forever, and are now a treasure that will bring you comfort and peace.

With Love and Caring Thoughts!

I was so sorry to hear of the loss of my good friend Dorothy. She and I worked together on the back hall at Cloverleaf. She was a wonderful teacher, and as a coworker I learned a lot from her. What a beautiful and kind Christian lady she was... always thinking of others. We shared some great times outside of school as we shared funny memories about growing up. We also had may serious talks and I admired her strength of character. She will be so missed. Very sorry for you Cheryll, and to sister Margaret (a topic in some of our shared stories). This earth was blessed so much to have her. She touched so many children, as well as adults. I know she is in Heaven receiving her just rewards. I loved this lady so much. She was so very special.

My Mother, Willa Harwell, spoke often and with high regard of your wonderful Mother. They taught together at Cloverleaf School. I was very fortunate to have met this wonderful lady. Your Earthly Loss is Heaven's Gain. May She Rest In Eternal Peace.

I am sorry for your great loss. May you find comfort in (Psalm 34:18 ) "Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted. He saves  those who are crushed in spirit " . Our heavenly Father does not leave us without hope of seeing our love ones again.  Acts 24 :15 assures us "There is going to be a resurrection " . With Deep Sympathy!
