RENA HILL

Ms. Rena Hill, 59, of Kingston, GA. passed away on Monday, January 30, 2017. Funeral service will be held on Monday, February 6, 2017 at 11:00am at New Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 85 Shaw Street, Kingston, GA. 30145. Interment will follow in Kingston Cemetery. The body will lie in state from 10:00am until the hour of service.

Rena Hill was born September 27, 1957 from the union of Dorothy Wooley and John Henry Hill.

She accepted Christ at the age of 6 years old, joining St. Paul Baptist Church. As an adult she served as an usher and a member of the church choir. She later moved her membership to New Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Kingston, GA.

She attended Kingston Elementary School in Kingston, GA and graduated from Cassville High School in Cassville, GA in 1975.

Rena loved playing basketball, softball, decorating and spending time with the family at the family home. For her, home cooked meals and cookouts was the best. She was a die-hard Falcon football fan and one of her greatest joys was spending time with her great nephew, Braylon Hill.

She was employed at the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company and the Bartow County School System for many years until retirement.

She leaves to cherish her memories: two sisters; Degloria Hosey (Calvin), Joanne Kellam (Larry); brother, Ricky Hill; two nieces, Nicole Jackson and Chelsea Hill; seven nephews, Mark Williams, Ronald Williams (Ana), Lajaune Hosey, Jonathan, Julian and Rashad Hill and Brandon Towers; one aunt, Delcia Hill; four uncles, Uncle Bill, Walter Frank, Robert Lee (Betty), and Weymon Hill, and a  host of great nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
