Mrs. Lorraine Jewell (Jewell) Brent

Mrs. Lorraine Jewell Brent, 56, of Adairsville, Georgia passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2015. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 1:00pm at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. The body will lie in state from 12:00 noon until the hour of service. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 from 6:00 - 7:00pm at the Mack Eppinger and Sons Funeral Home.

Lorraine Jewell Brent was born August 24, 1958 in Bartow County to the late Irene and William Jewell. She attended Bartow County School and graduated from Cass High School.

In her adult life she worked for various companies, she was last employed with Kangaroo Service Station / Convenient store as a clerk. In her spare time she enjoyed arts and crafts.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Mitch Christopher and Jimmy Brent; siblings, Leslie, Wallace and Walter Jewell.

She leaves to cherish her memories; one brother, William (Katherine) Jewell; five sisters, Lois (Joe) McAfee, Lillie Jewell, Lee Jewell, Laverne (Harvey) Dean, Lesa (Stanley) Slocum; five nieces, seven nephews, special friends, Tim Owens and Bree Hardy, and a host of other relatives and friends.
